Geezer Butler Band : ウィキペディア英語版
Geezer Butler Band

The Geezer Butler Band was a solo band led by Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, after leaving the band in 1984. The guitarist for his solo band was Peter "Pedro" Howse, who nowadays still remains a GZR (or ''g//z/r'', ''geezer'') member. Welsh vocalist Carl Sentance (ex-Persian Risk) fronted the band between 1986 and 1988. This version of his band never released anything, although they performed some gigs in 1985 of which some bootlegs exist.
==Background==
According to the ''Black Sabbath FAQ'' Geezer Butler left Black Sabbath after the Born Again tour and the band split up. So he formed the ''Geezer Butler Band''. Geezer joined Ozzy Osbourne 1989 and then came back to Black Sabbath on 1991. He left again after the Cross Purposes tour and the "Nativity In Black" affair.
Instead reforming the Geezer Butler Band he decided to form a new band called g//z/r in 1995. The musical style of the two bands are totally different.
